I got to know Dr. Pharr while working with him at the Department of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention. I thought of him as a leader and a friend. Our thoughts and prayers to his family. May he rest in peace.

Dr. Pharr was living proof that angels do walk the earth. He was such a great man and an amazing humanitarian. I felt priviledged just to know him. My thoughts and prayers to his wife, Pamela and his family

My family and I are truly saddened at the loss of our dear friend, Martin. The pain is sharpened by the realization that we have lost Martin almost a year following the death of Emery his dear friend, line brother and college roommate and my husband. We love you Martin. You will be missed.

I had the privilege of briefly working as an administrator for Dr. Pharr. He was a VERY kind and FUNNY man and I learned a lot from him in a brief time. This is shocking. He will be missed.
